EXPOSICIÓN EN LONDRES 13-26 ENERO 2000
Por la presente tengo el gusto de confirmar la exposición de la pintora ILUMINADA GARCIA-TORRES en la Sala de Exposiciones Hortesia, del Kensington and Chelsea College de Londres UK.
La exposición tendra lugar del 13 al 26 de enero del año 2000 y será inagurada el miércoles dia 12 de enero a las 6.30 de la tarde por Dn. Ramón Abaroa, Consejero Cultural de la Embajada de España en Londres.
La exposición de ILUMINADA GARCIA-TORRES, cuya obra es bien conocida en España y en el extranjero a través de sus numerosas exposiciones y catálogos, será su primera en el Inglaterra, por lo que existe una verdadera expectación tanto por parte del público como por la prensa, y por parte de las autoridades culturales españolas en Londres.
El marco de esta exposición forma parte del fomento de intercambios tanto culturales como artísticos entre artistas españoles de renombre y aquellos artistas y profesores de las artes plásticas que trabajan y exponen en el Reino Unido.
El Kensington and Chelsea College ha pondrá a la disposición de ILUMINADA GARCIA-TORRES, sin cargo alguno, su magnífica sala de exposiciones que está situada en el centro de Londres, donde las exposiciones son atendidas por cientos de visitantes.
Dado por tanto la importancia y significado de la exposición de ILUMINADA GARCIA-TORRES me permito recomendar a las autoridades, instituciones o empresas españolas oportunas, que brinden su ayuda a Iluminada García-Torres, para subvencionar algunos de los numerosos gastos que representa montar su exposición en el extranjero, para favorecer y conseguir que dicho acontencimineto sea un verdadero éxito internacional.

EXHIBITION IN LONDON JANUARY 13-26, 2000
I hereby have the pleasure of confirming the exhibition of the painter ILUMINADA GARCIA-TORRES at the Hortensia Exhibition Hall, at Kensington and Chelsea College in London, UK.
The exhibition will take place from January 13 to 26, 2000, and will be inaugurated on Wednesday, January 12 at 6:30 in the evening by Mr. Ramón Abaroa, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of Spain in London.
The exhibition by ILUMINADA GARCIA-TORRES, whose work is well known both in Spain and abroad through her numerous exhibitions and catalogs, will be her first in England. Consequently, there is genuine anticipation from the public, the press, and the Spanish cultural authorities in London.
The framework of this exhibition is part of promoting both cultural and artistic exchanges between renowned Spanish artists and those visual arts artists and teachers who work and exhibit in the United Kingdom.
Kensington and Chelsea College will make its magnificent exhibition hall available to ILUMINADA GARCIA-TORRES free of charge. It is located in central London, where exhibitions are attended by hundreds of visitors.
Given the importance and significance of ILUMINADA GARCIA-TORRES's exhibition, I would like to recommend that the appropriate Spanish authorities, institutions, or companies offer their assistance to Iluminada García-Torres.
